Pastor Sylvester Clark Jr. is a holiness preacher, who maintains a Godly compassion for souls and knows that anyone can be delivered if they would just believe. He stands firm on the Apostles Doctrine, believing in salvation according to God’s Word.
In 1999, Pastor Clark co-founded, with his wife Sister Tracy Clark, Apostolic House of Deliverance of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Pastor Clark was saved June, 1987 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He served faithfully under District Elder Mack Henderson of Light of The World Pentecostal Church, Sioux Falls, SD for 12 years. His last 4 years at Light of the World Pentecostal Church, he served as the Assistant Pastor. Pastor Clark became a licensed minister in 1989 and was ordained in 1995 by the Presiding Bishop of the P.A.W. at that time, Bishop Paul Bowers, who normally only ordained Bishops.
Pastor Clark was installed as the Pastor of Apostolic House of Deliverance in May of 2000 by, at that time was Suffragan Bishop Richard D. Howell, Jr. and now is the Diocesan Bishop of the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakota’s District Council.
Pastor Clark was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois. He went on to graduate from The University of South Dakota, Vermillion, South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Psychology. He also received his Ministerial License and Ordination through Aenon Bible College, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pastor Clark is married to Sister Tracy Clark and thanks God for his 5 children, James, Elizabeth, Audrey, Vanessa, Jeremiah, and three grand sons James, Courtland and Jack.
